Extraordinary! A beautiful scene, I'm in awe of the whole thing, from the individual models to the entire scene construction. Fantastic work of art!

Very nice... very Anime-like... (they always have quaint peaceful sacntuary-like places like this... you know, before the bad-guys come) Can you posts a detail shot of your flying machine too?

Thanks for the nice comments folks - and I hope to have something else for you to comment on soon. Magnatude, Hi, I've not seen a lot of anime so I'll have to take your word for it. I was looking for a feel that was a combination of Southern England (where I was born) and New Zealand (where I live) with a dose of fantasy (where my head is at!). If you want a closer view of the Dirigible Flying Machine have a look in my R'osity gallery. There's a few images there that show other views - it was one of the first large scale models I built and it's popped up in quite a few of my pictures. I've recently just begun to model a new version.

A meet of generations I would say :) flying ships, medieval houses and ancient ships, looks great as well as the composite with the sky/clouds which match the colors/brightness. Where I can sign up for a round trip? :)

There's a nice Myst meets Middle Earth feel going on. Love the atmospherics - I have to track down the CK tsx you mention.

Thanks for taking the time to comment folks - Kenmo, you asked if any of the modelling was done with Anim8or - the answer is no although I've used Anim8or a lot in the past. When I was using Ani8or I used it mostly for building scenes and did the actual modelling with AMAPI 4.5 - the flying machine in my picture was originally built that way. Then I discovered trueSpace and started doing my modelling with that. The terrain in this picture was originally made using Terragen - and everything else except the white building in the middle was modelled and textured using trueSpace 5.1 or trueSpace 6.6.
