Description

While going through some old files on my hardrive to backup, I discovered this photo I shot at a local park. This spider must of been less than 2 cm in size. I found this little fella exploring around on my wife's shiny new car. I think he was wanting to hitch a ride back home with us. :) Thanks for looking and dropping a line or two. Have a wonderful day!

Wow, take me to your leader! What a great shot and love those eyes! Beautiful contrast, hairy legs, etc. The asphalt suggests outer space with what appears to be planets and stars.

Incredible photo. He looks like he's about ready to jump again. So glad that you were able to get the shot, but I would have greeted the poor thing with a rolled newspaper and he could have just forgotten about a ride. LOL!! HUGS!!

goodoldboy Yeah, I thought he looked like a little alien among those colored specks myself. The spider is actually on the surface of my wife's car. If you look closely, you can see the spider's reflection on the clear coat paint. It's the properties in the metallic black paint that's giving the effect of what could look like little planets and stars. Damia I used a Sigma 28-80mm F3.5-5.6 Macro lens on a Cannon Digital Rebel. Thanks again all for your nice comments! :)
