Description

Though I wanted to hold off on posting any images with my new Predator WIP until after my Predator 2 was available, I had to post this. No where near done, and I have no plans on making that one availalbe for a long time yet as there are still things about setting up figures I want to learn first, he is quasi-functional. Originally inspired by the "grey back" or Elder predator from the end of the second film, which was made from the molds of the creature from the first film, I wanted to customize him. So the head is based on the creature from the first film, as is much of his gear including the plasma caster, much of it is customized, and not quite the same as any of the films. His skin colorations are different as well as the patterns, I have a nice helm I modeled to fit the face too, not shown in this image. His head is modeled around Mike's head this time and uses Mike's eyes as though the head were a mask. The ship interior, though nowhere near accurate didn't take that long to create. I'm thinking sooner or later I will have to do it more accuratley and in greater detail. All well. Until then, enjoy.

Really cool image.remember me the second movie. If you allow me an advice: if your using Poser 5 or 6,create nodes in the material room( a noise in the diffuse value of the skin map for exemple)it 'll make your predator skin a little wet and shiny like in the movie. Good continuation

I hate to gush - but....................this is one fantastic picture! It could be an outtake from the second flic (the better of the two!). The modeling is right on the money, and you've really captured the feeling of the ship interior even though you seem dissatisfied with it. Great job!!
