Description

First let me say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Jocko500 blesses us with his photography and 3d art at R'osity (look at his gallery) He also has great insight into human affairs with his descriptions. These next few photos of mine he inspired with his many travels and photo commentaries. I went on a walk of my own and never got more than 500 feet from my back door. LOL :) There is a lot to be seen if we would but take the time to look. God blessed us with a beautiful world. I hope we don't mess it up. Jock would say something like this "Some people never quite decide what they want to do. 'Fence sitters' They never set roots down anywhere and won't survive the storms life brings. Maybe I'm a fence sitter. I hope not." I hope you liked my copy-cat commentary I use a Sony DSC-F717

Yeah that Jocko is a walking visionary!! Great first of your tribute!! Also a testimate to natures ability to undo any of man's works, or atleast establish a foot-hold!!! Clean composition!!

I think you've done Jocko much justice with this wonderful shot. Like the blade of grass that forces itself up through the asphalt of the city street, the little getto child that grows up to be a healer or some other great man or woman your image like Jocko reminds us all to take that first step and follow it with another upon another to explore our world to love it in all its diversties and then bring back what we see and learn so that others who were not not fortunate enough to have experiance it can do so through our eyes. Excellent commentery excellent image.

"Come sit down beside me I said to myself, And although it didn't make sense, I held my own hand As a small sign of trust And together I sat on the fence." Michael Leunig. The Age Newspaper, Australia. 2006 Nothing wrong with sitting on a fence and dreaming a little, as I suspect has happened to the fence. If I dream I am a tree........

hahahah that real good. Thanks a lot and I am blessed. Thank you very much. I just read the IM. This new sruff on Rend. got me missing IM,s for a day or two before I know I got some. Look like that 500 feet did you good and open your eyes to see the stuff you was missing a life time. We all see the little things but our minds just do not see them. Our mind sees the main stuff. Got to stop and see what God put there that is small at times like this seed that is growing on a fence.

Bravo! I love the metaphor and symbolism here. Jocko is a fantastic person and I'm so glad you 'copied' his commentary style. This is wonderful...as long as that's not poison oak, lol ;)
