Description

This was a digital/optical telephoto shot from halfway across the street. Just look into those trusting eyes! Hah! Any closer and the feline would have jumped off the car. You could just see it in the demeanor. It was too spontaneous an event for a tripod and I was surprised and pleased at the lack of camera shake. Incidentally, cats are genetically predisposed to run and hide under parked cars.

Great look on the cat, looks so...evil. And the leg is just like its preparing for a take off.

Trusting eyes? I don't think so, He looks as though another step and he'd be out of there. Cats are so precious and precocious, and you've caught this one ready to spring into action. Love it. Big HUGS for YOU!!!

Sublime shot Harry!! She looks afraid? Cats run under stuff to find safety...to feel secure. Do you know that tortoise shell cats are always female? If you discover a male tortoise shell cat, you would be a millionaire!! She is gorgeous but not at all at ease. My tortoise shell cat was Hannah, she was a great joy to my life. Hugs to an ace hugger. Di Di. Will mail about the roofing materials 2morrow. I'm so tired... Phew!

Rainbows: What is a tortoise shell cat? Strange name, indeed. As far as being afraid and feeling secure, they need a change of attitude, maybe some valium or a visit to a psychiatrist. Predators like cats shouldn't be so uptight. What are they worried about? They have nine lives anyway. My favorite kitties are Siamese cats, really friendly and laid back. The ones I've encountered come up to me, a complete stranger, and let me pet and stroke them.
