Description
You can't see nanocams with the naked eye (that's half the point), but they can see you (that's the other half). During the One-Day Coup on New Falkland, the tensest moments occurred when someone authorised the release of nanocams to spy on the mutineers. The truth is that nanocams are normally useless against military targets. Soldiers' sensors detect them easily, while any half-decent active disruptor field will frazzle 'cams in no time. The mutineers had made every effort to avoid seeming menacing. Their ChamCam (self-adjusting Chameleon Camouflage) suits were re-coloured to bright parade-ground hues. They didn't wear their combat-helmets. They deactivated their disruptor fields, but their sensors remained unobtrusively operational, so they spotted the nanocams immediately, but couldn't zap them in the usual way. The mood turned briefly ugly, but the 'cams were urgently recalled and calm was restored. It is said that the passport desk (visa extensions and contagious illnesses section) in the New Coventry consulate shortly afterwards acquired a new Third Secretary.
The base of the suit is from LM Stormguards (DAZ). Sector 15 and Devanar Hair also from DAZ.
