Description

Thanks so much, y'all, for all your kind and generous comments on yesterday's "Early Morning Fog"! I would like to thank "Deagol" here at R'osity and his family for taking time out of their busy lives to show me the beaches and mountains of Washington. Meeting them was a real honor and to be able to walk along this beach with the best fractal artist on the planet was a real treat! This photo is from the same place as yesterday's photo, and is at "Third Beach" near La Push, Washington, but I was a little closer to the hill and it was earlier in the morning, when more of the fog was out over the ocean and was just beginning to creep over the land. The wavelets of fog nestled inbetween the folds of the hillside were just mesmerizing, but a photo does not do it justice, you just had to be there. Thanks again for taking the time to have a look. Wow, I know what you mean. It's so difficult to really capture the nuances of a landscape. Something intangible seems to escape the photo, that feeling of well-being you get from simply being there. Obviously you had that sensation too. Still, this photo does it for me!!!

lovely shot. this is, i think, better than the previous one. i did not want to say it yesterday, but i was thinking 'if only you had not got those rocks in the way'. now that you have posted this one, i feel that i can say it without sounding awfully negative....!

Stunning!!! I can feel the misty fog as it covers the face and breaths the ocean air into the lungs. All we need to do is stand there and relax and creation does all of the work. Thank you, a very good photo. HUGS!!!
