Description

Thank you to all who chose to stop by on my last post; always so nice to see you all again. I'm going to drop in and pay you a visit very soon. We are having a little heatwave in the UK and we are enjoying complaining about it as we British always do. I'm posting this shot to remind us that it will get cold soon enough so we should enjoy the heat while we can. This was ten images stitched together believe it or not, as I wanted to get it as exact as possible with very little cloning. I took a small part from each image to make the panorama and it came together very easily. The image is much reduced from 8440x1730. This castle was built by Randulph de Blundeville, the Earl of Lincoln and it became the home of John of Gaunt in the 14th century. It was also the birthplace of his son, Henry Bolingbroke, who later became King Henry IV.

Dear Dave, I really cannot disagree with you more - this heat is horrible (I can't sleep as it is still too hot and I hate being a meal for half the insects in the Canton) I look forward to a nice cold, wet, foggy November - lol. I hope that things are going well for you and yours and that you will visit us more often :-))

Wow Dave! That is just amazing! 10 photos???? And not a seam to be seen. Well done Sir, well done indeed!!! Yeah...i actually saw a documentary about British people and how they whine about everything, lol. It was quite fascinating listening to how they hated standing in line at the supermarket or how it pissed them off that people on the news referred to eachother using their firstnames, like you viewers would give a shit. LOL. And they told these "horrible" tales with such enthusiasm that i just couldnt stop myself from laughing, lol. Have a great, and hot, day! #:o)
