Excellent image and title Hew. Right smack in the center, I see a figure that to me resembles Jesus wearing the crown of thorns. I know that I view this from my own experience, but I am always fascinated at what I discover speaking to me in your work. That is why I love it so much. For anyone interested, the text can be found in Luke 8 26-39, but is also in other Gospels. Jesus cast the demons from a man into a herd of pigs. Given the dietary customs of the Jews, the herd must have belonged to the Romans. By the way, this is a salvation story. The man who was saved from "Legion" was one of the first evangelists. Jesus instructed him to basically go and proclaim the good news of how he was saved, from the demons. Interesting that the towns people were afraid of Jesus because of what happened, so they asked him to leave their town in the region of Galilee.
