I think the dim lighting actually improves the realism of this scene, for a couple of reasons. (1) If this crew is lost, does it not stand to reason that it may be late in the day, and (2) the darker skin tones/shadows make the figures look more alive, less like plastic or CGI mannequins. My only critical concerns are that the shadows are not long enough for dusk (on a Terrestrial world), and the wheels of the heavy equipment have not sunk into the (presumably soft) ground to a sufficient depth. This scene is otherwise very well constructed, with realistic characters and poses!
