Description

Sooo.. I had it in my head to do this image of Alice (Like Alice in Wonderland Alice) looking lost and sullen amoung these huge chess pieces.  I started on it and soon realised that what I had envisioned and what I was going to get were not the same thing.. so I figure subliminally I was getting some kind of message because when it was all done I ended up with 2 pieces that I am happy with, that to me reflect life..

In this game of life we cant always win.. and we are bound to fall and knock some pieces down along with us.. I think that is what this image portrays.. I could be worng..LOL  Anyway the original is 1440 x 900 (to fit my desktop) and has some detail that this one misses out on.  You can view the original in full scale HERE

Be warned though it is large and may take a few to load.  As always thanks for looking!
Hope everyone is gearing up for an awesome week!!!

This is superb! Thanks for the link to the original version, it is a delight to see the rich details of the figures. And thanks for the much more civilized term for what we say here: Sometimes you knock down with your butt what you've built up with your hands g

I agree with your intro 100 percent Amy, and also that so much detail is lost from the original, it's amazing! My images also start out very large and I'm usually very disappointed it what it looks like when I shrink it down to post it. It's a shame to see all that gorgeous detail in your original lost here! Beautiful art!
