Description

Star Dew by ZOT Created: 3-5 July 2006 Created with: Vue 5 Esprit (and rendered in), Poser 6, Photoshop. ========================================= About: ------- This started out with myself simply playing around in Vue 5 Esprit creating a little scene just with the "alien" plants that are in its library that come with Vue, since I'd never used them before at all. Then I decided to put in an interesting character to see how it would fit in and.....behold! ;-) The scene was designed to have eye-lines that lead into the scene but the character is deliberately low-key. In fact I did a lot of colourisation stuff in Photoshop to purposely tone down and mute all the colours of the scene but still have a dramatic sky. - This was probably due to myself coincidentally looking at some books with photos from the 40-50's and 60's that have that peculiarly strange colourisation feel about them. Then.....after all that work I ended up cropping away the lower half of the entire image to give it more visual focus! ;-) What started out as a very simple playaround in Vue, then with a Poser figure added in to give it some interest, became a final playaround in Photoshop.......and the permutations I ended up with.... Ahhhhh yes, playing around with no idea where I'm going. - Perfect. - That's how I usually 'work'. ;-) Meow.
