Description
If you haven't guessed by now, I like characters that fly. I could really blame Uzilite's Liquid Halo jet pack for starting me on this comic path. This picture features block 48 from Dystopia. To guide the eye to the building where Liq has parked her sky bike, I photoshopped a neon sign. The city should probably have lots of neon but this was added so everyone could get a handle where she was hiding in some of the longer shots to come and more neon would have muddled that. Background and particles rendered in Lightwave, character rendered in P6. Heat ripples: photoshop7. Thanks again for the supporting comments of all varieties.

The blast effects are fantastic here! And that background sky with a very subtle reflected glow from the city lights at ground level... excellent attention to detail, without losing the narrative thread. Top notch work!
