Hi everyone,
I was trying to capture a sense of magic from a child's perspective.
Hope I'm posting this in the right gallery - this started out as an experiment in matte painting, a combination of elements of stock (royalty free - from www.sxc.hu) photos - all the elements of the citadel come from a cross section of about 40 photos, repainted, re-lit and given perspective - the little fella is an overpaint from a photo reference, and the rest is Photoshop/Wacom painting.
