Description

Hello!! Okay, some of you are aware that I went to the zoo this last weekend to take pictures. I'm having a dilema here because I have several more pictures of the redwoods I would like to upload, but I want to share some zoo shots, too. So I guess the answer would be to alternate between the two. I figure that way you all won't get bored of one or the other. (hopefully) :) So here is a redwoods shot (I haven't worked on the zoo ones yet). These are my adorable little children inside of a burned out redwood. It was burned out by lightning. Since these trees are so tall, lightning likes to strike them. The tree is still alive....they heal themselves as much as they can. I thought this would be a good one to show so those of you who can't go to the redwoods in person, can see how big these trees really are. And those of you who have been there, can share in the awe that I feel after seeing these amazing giants. Okay, so enough of my rambling (blah blah blah). I'm sorry that I don't post the technical info for the trees and the parks they live it. I just don't have the time. I hope to get some info in on one of these posts....I hope. lol Oh, and thank you so much for the comments on my last upload, Sweetpea. I was afraid it wouldn't be that well received. I appreciate your wonderful feedback. :) Finally, I'm done typing. ;) I hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by! :)

You could always do like i do and put up collages and that way get "rid of" more photos faster, lol. Is this tree for real by the way? WOW!!! That is one HUUUUUUUUUUGE tree!!!! Or your children are really tiny tiny people. Very cool stuff, and once again...the light is perfect! Have a great day D. #:O)

Truly amazing scale - I would love to go and see them. Perhaps someday. Love the dappled sunlight in this image too - I can see why you like this shot so much. If it were mine, it would be framed and hanging on the wall!

What a beautiful tree in a beautifully lit forest. And the children there are just perfect for giving a sense of scale. Superb!
