Description

This shot was taken in the Heidelberg castle. Everyday thousands of tourists come here to vistit the old ruins. I waited over 15 minutes to take a shot of this old gate, without having someone else standing under it to be photographed by his friend or partner. Just when I thought, now it's a good moment for a shot, this young lady was standing there. I don't know her but I think it's okay to post this image. Thanks for viewing!!!

I got a kick out of your intro! It sure can be hard to get a photo in public places at times. Lori and I usually get up very early if we're goin to visit popular places, and often go on a Sunday. In any case, this is a nice shot, and hey, at least you got a pretty girl instead of some old coot like me!!! LOL Don't you wonder how long it took to build the gate tho. Imagine spending that much money on a gate! Whadda ya bet the gatekeeper made a pittance. Sorry, seeing places like this seems to bring questions like that to my mind.

To think of the work that went into creating this arch, such beauty and for her to join the image give a sense of importance to it all:):):):)

Wonderful capture! I love the stones and the proportions, you can see how great the arch is compared to the woman. Excellent work!
