You have a great future ahead of you with the TREK SFX team, as they can never remember the relative sizes of ships either. The entire Voyager is shorter than the upper hull of the "E". Reverse the positon of the the two ships and it works out, with the relatively small Voyager buffeted by the wake of the much, much larger Enterprise-E.
