Another one of my alltime favourite images. I got a gold prize for this one in a photography class. Naturally I was quite happy :) Taken just down the street from where I work, VERY early in the morning. Image Copyright (c) Johann Marx. Please do not use without permission

No wonder you won that award. This is absolutely striking. Just the contrast between the cool, shaded blue areas and the shimmering, golden rays is striking all by itself. But the composition as a whole is marvellous. I think Nature posed for you that morning.

I can see why you got the prize... Beautiful shot... a bit more mainstream (popular) and less personal and individulalistic than your other images. I would be proud to have it in my gallery though, LOL.
