Description

Sci Fi or Industrial wall greeble, made from primitives, heavy use of the Array tool made this a lot easier. about 50,000 polys, 45 minutes or real modelling but about 2 hours of blankly staring at the screen. Rendered in Mental Ray using mental ray's ambient occlusion material.

Cool job looks like a door on a space station or somthing maybe a sub. Its called "Mental Ray" cuz it will make you mental. Playing with 3d programs can be a ball or just drive you nuts. I like you am self taught and have played with computers for a long time - My first was a Trash 80. then I moved up to a Commador 64 OOOH yeah and that was first thing I ever went on the net with too.(super speedy 1200 baud modem)
