Cool! This vaguely reminds me of a Tool video I saw once.

So weary, the poor pilgrim! I hope the guide rope finally leads her out of her maze...and it is amazing how your renders make the viewer feel so much empathy for your characters!

very cool. each image in the series is well done and for me, does what great art is supposed to do...it makes me ask questions about the images. what does the title mean...what is the artist trying to say...what is the sybology in the images? great stuff. cant wait for the ultimate "discovery"!

The realism is jawdropping. So hard to believe it's not a photo. I'm in love with the textures and lighting; the walls are amazing, especially how the grunginess is concentrated in the lower areas, as it would be in real life. The way the light illuminates the sheeted figure is phenomenal. Gotta go see the rest now!

Fascinating & creative concept (following a recurring character through a series of rooms & passageways in a sequence of images). I guess the closest comparable art form is the comic or graphic novel, though these finely crafted images can each stand alone quite well as individual pieces. Aside from their technical excellence, I very much like the minimalism in these compositions - they really draw me in & engage my imagination. I see them as an allegory of a spiritual voyage of discovery, though I'm purposely keeping my interpretation tentative until the series is complete...

This is such a cool and moody series. The texturing is rich, and the old and ugly walls contrasted by the character in clean white really makes it pop as well as adds a sense of mystery. The composition is clean and simple, yet keeps the eye moving - can't wait to see more!

This series of images is especially intriguing to me. I think because although they're not quite my style (still looking for my style, somewhat) they're what I wish I could be like -- your Discovery series is to me what The Ramones are to an aspiring garage band. Keep going!

Now officially my favourite series...but you already knew that. :) The objects are perfect, like your amazing texturing skills. The only slight thing I notice in this one, is that the figure looks a tiny bit too photorealistic in the environment, where your previous three image where perfectly balanced. Just a minor, tiny thing really because it takes nothing away from you incredible talent to make the most moody images. My compliments as always!

Stunning work Kees with incredible photo realism. Are you still using real models in your renders? or have you surcome to digital Barbie?

Love the high ceiling and dirty walls. This series is so cool. I want to know where it's leading and the suspense is killing me! Since the e-bots aren't working, can you please message me when you post the next one? I don't want to miss anymore of these, Kees!
