Description

Still at Mt Rainier, this waterfall is in the southwest corner of the park, on the drive in from Longmire on the way to Paradise. I took this fairly early in the morning; we needed to get an early start on a hike so we would be done before the afternoon clouds formed on the mountain. I have to thank the bridge engineers for the composition on this one. :-) Thanks for looking and any comments. This is a repost with a bit of the blue removed from the rocks, and a more square crop. Sorry for the duplicate notifications.

A wonderful photo, Dennis - perfect shutter speed to blurr the water. I agree about the engineering - so seldom now do we see such care taken to compliment and accent the environment. No wonder this is one of Washington State's signiture views.

I like this one too. I think the green really adds a nice punch of color to the picture and the blue cast on the water is absolutely beautiful! I do love a good waterfall picture. Nicely done!
