Description

Hello all! WE have been having a terrible heat wave here in Southern California. The guy at the gas station showed me a picture of the reading the other day 120 degrees at one point ..!!... like an oven outside!! So what to do?.. GO with the girls ice skating LOL!!.. ( there is a huge rink a few miles from my home ). WOW! it was definatly COOL in there . Real cool - yep even needed a sweater infact!!...what a way to beat the heat!!... .I skated too! hehe weeee... it was fun!! Before I did, I looked around for something to shoot. IT was the ordinary crowd - kids in blue jeans and t-shirts. Nothing much out of the ordinary. SO I walked up stairs to the upper level snack bar locker area to shoot down from above. I thought I could get a good pov looking down . BUt then something caught my eye to the right . Light was pouring in from the upstairs window, And then there she was in her sparkaly outfit so pretty !!... I asked if I could shoot her with my little nikon 7900 . (The great thing about that cam is no one feels threatened i just look like a mom who is overly camera happy ( lol haha actually Thats me!! ) ... and she continued to pose practicing all that she had just learned in her summer session - with her sweater on- no heat wave in there lol!!... I liked this shot for her pose it reminded me of a beautiful ballerina and felt it was lucky as I only took a couple quick shots real quickly up there..!! * looks best a full size thanks * Thank you for all your time and comments! You are a wizard Kimmers, your shots realy glow with wonderfully intense colors and clarity. Here you caught an unusual, but very elegant and beautiful summer view. Wish i had something like that in the heat which is unusual here too. I have to be happy with a shower now and then though. The young lady in silhouette is just gorgeous!

WOW kIMMY. This is the kind of stuff Im really into. Posey Modely sillhouette kind of stuff. lol Anyways, this has to be one of my favorites of your reccent work. ^-^ And BTW! YAY I put ONE photo up so far of my photography. lol And I wanna start putting MORE of my work in a gallery on renderosity. SO im working on it. And Im even putting some things from my europe trip up! So yay! Anyways, I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MORE OF YOUR STUFF!!! What an incredible photo and what a way to beat the heat... A few years ago I used to play ice hockey in the summer... Now I'm too old to play hockey... A very dreamy photo Kimmie and congrats on artist of the month....It's well deserved...
