I thought at first it was a white beach, but really did not think England has any. it is a "very cool" scene, but it is still hot here but my eyes feels the rush

This is lovely in the subtle colors. Personally, I would likely have cropped for less sky, more earth or the other way around. As is, the pic is quite pleasing.

I find the bushes interesting - the deformity suggests that the wind blows most of the time. The wind-brushed surface seems to bear this out. One of the other comments on this post alluded to the "rule-of-thirds," which states that placing the horizon line 1/3 of the way from the top, or 1/3 of the way from the bottom, will make the image appear more artistic. And placing a subject in the shot 1/3 from either edge will do the same. As an example, check my post of Yaquina Head Lighthouse. A typical photo would have centered the tower and the horizon, called the "bulls-eye" effect, resulting in a nice snapshot, but little more. It doesn't take much practice to develop the habit of doing it automatically. Also, there are a number of tutorials on the web which explain things much better. Have a great day!

Di, where on earth did you come up with this scene? Could this be the British Isles.....pure white sand with a bush barrier running down the middle? Then again, maybe it's snow -- uncorrupted by humanity -- rather than sand! Nice capture, me lady! Harry the Hugger

Wonderful cooling image Diane! The Pro's are worth listening to on the thirds principle, but that doesn't take anything away from the beauty of the image. If it were me, I think I'd lop a little snow off the bottom before I let go of even one of those silver linings, but you know me, I'm partial to clouds LOL. But just as is, it is most worthy and brilliant. I've enjoyed my few moments taking it in. :-)

The thirds principle...? Yes, but it's all about balance. This image looks absolutely perfectly in balance to me, what can't even be said of all 'thirds-principle' images. Only negative thing: it's still as hot here now as it was before I looked at the picture, LOLOLOL... Na Night, Di!

Ha ha, with so much ice I'd love to see the whisky added! ;) Cool shot, beautiful to see the - as we call it here - virginal white: untouched snow-area's with a perfect surface!
