Description

I dont like this one, but it took 14 hours to render so I have to post it. I dont like my canyon textures...I know I can improve those, but I do like the sky I made and how Kate from Outsidethebox turned out. Background, sky, all done in Vue5I and rendered there to. Character in Poser 5 Hair is Aliz hair but I forget who makes it.

14 hours!! Good golly!! I love the sky, it is a beautiful color. I like it, just the top part of the ground were she is standing is too repeated, not sure of the word I am looking for. But I think it is great!!! Great pose, she appears to be daydreaming.

I agree. The overall image is great. The sky and the water in the canyon is fantastic. And as usual, your characters are lovely.

ya, I didnt see the repetetive texture until it rendered...in draft it didnt show up. I know how to fix it but ... like I said, why waste a 14 hour render..heheh so someday ill fix it up.. I wish I could render in layers..I think the new Vue6 will let you do that. If you can do it in Vue5 I dont know how heheh

I wouldn't call it a waste.. I think your too hard on yourself at times. I love the overall idea and how the sky turned out, the colors are awesome. I know you'll end up reworking it and hopefully it will turn out more to your liking..but I think its beautiful the way it is:)

Shape of the canyon is great but as you say the texture needs work. You could use the island sea mat by monsoon - this generates a white foam at the terrain edges - would look more realistic. Sky is great but the sun needs to bit a little lowerand less powerful but more of a darker red as this image looks likea sunset one. You mut of used an ultra setting for a 14 hour render. Most Ive done is a 51hour render - so annoying! Poser is great. A good quality picture however - great POV.

Excellent character, pose, sky, and light. The "carpeted" canyon is kinda interesting.
