Description

She's about three storeys tall, and she overlooks the crossing of the Pacific Crest Trail over Noble Creek, high in the Sierra Nevada. O' course the light has to be just so, for her to reveal herself to the mortals.

Well, you definitely got the light "just so"! Excellent photograph. It's surprising how often the brain can see human faces in rock faces. There's a famous one at Ollantaytambo in Peru, but I wish I had had my camera to hand to photograph a whole string of other "faces" while I was out there.
