Description
Just a sample page from the series. This may or may not make it into the final comics.

It looks like a great layout, although if possible i'd make the starfield frame (left) a little narrower and the frame with the face wider. Just my preference. Also, i'm not sure where in the comic this page goes, but the starfield frame is a perfect place for a little box that will bring context to the scene, naming the location, time, mood of the character, etc. On the other hand, i've never really made a comic, so what do I know?

I've been observing your work for quite some time -- it does remind me of a comic based on Joe Haldeman's novel "The Forever War". Have you been inspired by it, by any chance? The mood is very alike, dark and kind of claustrophobic (in the positive, twisted way).

Thank you both for your comments and suggestions. :) This page was originally designed to be more of a promo than to go in the actual comic. It still might, with some tweaking though. Most likely it will go into the Hellsquad series that I have planned for this fall/winter. I was working on kind of a narrative of Commander Bria (the girl in the panels) recalling the war at a later time. I'll try your suggestions chimera, that might make it more clear and ready for some type of intro page. Thanks! :D Ariah, I haven't heard of that book, but now I will have to find it. :) My original inspirations for this was a lot the early 70's scifi shows, many I forget their names, and also the late 70's original Battlestar Galactica. Thanks again!
