Description

Our beloved "KC" (Kitty Cat) died last night. He adopted us shortly after my heart transplant 14 years ago when I really needed a pet. He was very attached to both my wife and I, but had a special love for me. When I took my nap after lunch he would come jump up on the bed and curl up beside me. He loved to curl up on either of our laps in the evenings. We will miss him very much! I meant to mention; I built him a coffin in my wood shop with his name and the date burned into the lid. We placed a small cat angel statue as his headstone.

Sorry for your loss. My own cat 'PAWS' died a few weeks ago. I still miss her. Always remember the good times.

I realize that nothing can be said that will make things better - but sometimes knowing that you have friends who care helps in difficult times. You have many friends here. What a big loss. I love cats and when our cat died some years ago (she had cancer),me and my wife were very sad and we will never forget her. Nevertheless a very fine photograph and a beautiful dedi. She will live on in your heart and in your thoughts forever.

My condolences about KC. Cats can be quiet good friends despite their aloof reputation. My wife had one pass recently that was very dear to her. It sounds like you have fond memories of your time together, cherish that. :)

It is always so sad when one of our beloveds leaves us...but KC is still watching over you to be sure...and don't be surprised is you catch him out of the corner of your eye when you least expect it :-)

I am very glad you posted this. I will not comment on the image but to say I have several ones similar of our cats. We have a little place where previous ones are laid to rest in the woods above the house. Sorry...I do understand it, been there and will be there again. God Bless.

That is such a painful loss, losing a bloved little companion which loves us unconditionally. Awww!!!! Im soooo sorry for your loss. And im sorry i missed this upload. I must have been on Lofoten at the time. Its never easy losing a pet and ive lost too many myself. #:o( When Obi passed away last year, i too built him a wooden coffin and placed him inside it on his blankie. Then buried him in the backyard next to his best friend and our former dog...Zacko. Thank you for sharing this tragic episode with us, i wish you and your wife all the best in coping with your loss.
