Description

This photo was taken today while driving up Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. I thought the blossom was pretty. Thank you for looking and your comments.

The blossom is a little blurry, I tried all I know how to do. Thank you for any assistance you can give me. :)

Maybe with that particular lens you just need to back up a bit more. Then you could come in closer with a crop in photo shop. The leaves in the background are nice and clear....so I would say ayou need to be that far away from your focal subject to take a clear picture.

Howdy Doody!! Best thing for it is to find out if your camera does centre spot focus, also check manual for minimum distance away for focus and most essentially get a tripod (you can get cheap/small/lightweight one and they only take a minute or so to set up) i leave the tripod base plate almost permanently attached to my camera so i can quickly set it up (i keep a tripod at home and a small one in the car)!! Best of luck, Louise.

Beautiful flowers and presentation. Imo the focus should be a bit more on the blossoms than on the ground, anyway, a nice shot. :)

I got a kick out of Lori's comment. It's true - we never take a freehand photo anymore, even on the beach when it's sunny and 104. It's amazing the difference a stable platform makes in photography. You're certainly on the right track, tho, and I'm looking forward to more of your work.
