Distant shore? Hell it ain't even my $^%&#; planet! Toto, we are NOT in Kansas anymore!!! Wow!! What a great SC-FI backdrop!!! I want to play with this! Add space men and aliens!!! Fighting!!! And, why not? Add a chick in some partially see-through space suit!!! Ala 60's Barberella style!!! Very VERY cool!! A wiener in MY book!!!!

Fantastic composition. It's a pity you didn't win. I'm sure that the only thing that the image needs is a naked alien female. 8-) I think the lighting should be a bit more dim.

awwww too bad since it reminds me a bit o the Mars books and some of that Land o the Lost thrown in - maybe they expected a critter to come out of the foliage?? Anyhow great job on it and at least ya threw yer hat into the ring :)

Unfortunately for them and I am very upset you did not get placed, you should have listened to Deane's advice :-) This is beautiful and rendering in Vue is fantastic!!!
