A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)

Bon courage

And this version is just - excellent!!!

I like them both. But like yesterdays better for one reason. The shadow on the floor is what makes the photo for me...and it is more promiant in yesterdays post work and crop. To me...the shadow across the floor looks like the sun is casting a huge shadow, using the floor to tell how long they have been their waiting...like a giant sun dial.

I like the first crop and coloring the best, but both are interesting viewing! :)

Love the way the lights of the locomotive are glowing in the distance and everything else is sepia. It's clever little touches like this that transform pictures in art.

Remember the Rolling Stones song, Waiting on a Train"? 1982 I think it was. I hear that song looking at this photograph. Great scene. . .
