Description
Back when I was a kid, I was reading the usual comics: Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, etc. It seemed that DC comics had a death grip on the comic world. But, things were about to change in a big way. Marvel comics hit the stands with a new team of super heros, The Fantastic Four. The Fantastic Four were "real" people with very special abilities that seemed both a curse and a blessing. Then came Spider-Man. This super hero was truly different. He was a teenager, he was unpopular, he had major problems, and all this before he gained his super powers. He was a hero to whom we could relate. And, he took the comic world by storm. It would be a long time before another comic book character struck with the same impact. Not until Marvel struck again, this time with Wolverine. Still, after all these years, Spider-Man remains the standard by which others are measured. This is my little salute to my boyhood hero.

Excellent job... I too like Spiderman, not only the bridge between his problems in likeness to ours, yet... the concept of his powers and his look seemed more original and possible than any other super hero. You did an awesome job here... Keep up da good work... Goop
