Description

Havent posted for awhile, Got inspired by a tutorial in Imagine FX magazine about Chris Foss. So thought i would have ago at something similar to his style, still needs work. All comments welcome.

Comparing it to my copy of 'Diary of a Space Person', I'd say you need brighter colours, reds and yellows and some hazy wisps of gas. The trademark tiny people would of course reinforce the sense of scale.

I think you are definitely on the right track! - the designs look very Foss-esque. I agree about the bolder colours, and you should contemplate something in the foreground, and play around with the POV for more dramatic effect! - glad to see people are reading these tutes anyway! ;)
