Ah..proper Scottish weather, Anthony. After the recent heat, the sodden downpour this afternoon was a relief, heading up the M74 towards the 'auld grei toun'. I took a second look at your photo, and must admit, sad person that I am, that it does not really look ominous to me. This is the homecoming weather I expect as I head north from Carlisle on into Scotland on the motorway, safe in my coach, drowsy no more, approaching Beattock Summit. It is the weather that emphasizes to me that I am home. Not ominous but rather home welcoming. Regards, John.

Ominous weather like this makes for some dramatic shots like this one...I look for this type of weather and lighting all the time....I love this shot Anthony, it's right up my alley! Aloha!
