Description

After returning from her time away, she walk down to the shores of Lake Michigan, her thoughts turned to her Lover far away, and the weeks they had spent together. The words that he had told her, kept running through her mind............. You'll remember me when the west wind moves, Upon the fields of barley You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we walk in fields of gold......... lyrics by Sting This is the first part in a series based on this bueatiful song, I am going to try to do a picture on each verse of this song...........hope you enjoy, and have a wonderful week ahead.............Q

This is absolutely stunning work, John, it is far beyond excellent! I have no clue how you make those scenes, I know that you paint them, but I really can't imagine how you can come up with such a result by painting on a computer. The lyrics is beautiful, and the picture is perfect for that verse, I cannot wait for the next :) The sea/beach-scene is so beautiful and wonderfully detailed. The colors of the sand, grass ocean and sky looks perfect together. The girl and her pose are gorgeous, and so is your painting on her clothes and hair. That boat that lies beside her...it looks perfect my friend, have you painted that too??? And that lighthouse in the background, it is an outstanding detail. I want to mention, there was no reference used to paint this, I have never been to Michigan in my life and have no idea, if this is accurate. There was not even a photo reference used, this is totally out of my head............Thank You for the wonderful comments................Q

Hehe, I had that exact same idea, to do an image for each verse of the "Fields of Gold" song. The images are actually already there in my gallery ^_^ I think you read my mind... Or maybe great minds think alike :D
