Description

My eldest daughter is dinosaur mad, so for her birthday cake this year (this image was printed onto it) she requested dinosaurs - in fact she was quite specific in her brief! ;) - she decided that she wanted her sister and herself to be flying the Pterosaurs (like in Dinotopia), so a bit of creative photography, photo editing and compositing was required! C4D / InterPoserPro (beta) / Daz Dinos / Photoshop / 2 kids! Cheers Adam

Your daughters might not say it in so many words, but they know they are so very lucky to have a wonderful talented father like you, Adam. Knowing who the client is... and the intended audience, I would venture to say that this is among your very best work ever, my friend. :o)

Thanks folks!! - petz_e - these are the Daz textures plus some layers of procedural noise to bolster them up a bit! - moe - you say the nicest things! ;) - riko - InterPoser is a plugin by Robert Templeton that enables easy import of Poser charcaters into C4D - the Pro version which is still in beta testing is a fully fledged Poser in Cinema plugin - brilliant! - these dinos were loaded into Cinema, mat texture applied. and all posing done IN Cinema - Poser was NOT used! :)

Awesome Adam! And that plug-in you spoke of is a dream-come-true since I don't like to spend much time in Pser. Only for the figures themselves. Great Job on the kids!, and as Hannibal on the A-team said, I love it when a scene comes together. ;-)) or sorry, "plan".

I am always geeked to see that you have posted something new, because it could be anything. This is great. And I thought it was cool to have a pic of my son and his Elmo doll on his cake!!! I was just showing my wife the train cake picture the other night. As a photo guy, I can only imagine trying to figure out how to get the girls' pictures so they would fit right. Heck getting a good picture with Elmo was hard enough! Thanks again for fun and inspiring work.
