This is beautiful. The large swirls look like leaves made of thin silk and the smaller ones look like embroidery on a bride's gown.

The French have this beautiful technique of partially stripping off the paint of wooden furniture. They call it "daper". Your fractal reminds me of it and I think it's very lovely. "Dap or not, the colouring and painterly texture are exquisite.
