Description

This is another rendering in the set as another image I have posted here, called "Nappers." This is a bathroom scene in which the two partners are engaged in their usual waking tasks. One of them is fussing with his hair or looking at something on his face while his partner is steaming up the shower.

The final render was done in 3D Studio MAX. The Poser models were imported using the Pro Pack plug-in. MAX provided the ability to do the cloth simulations needed for the towels as well as the hair simulation used to make the bathmat fuzzy.

That mirror reflection is awesome! Nice attention to detail throughout.

I really like that bathroom. I love the way Max renders. I'm starting to figure that out. This is way awesome. The bathroom shows good taste as well, aside from being a great render. I love burlap walls. Never thought of them in a bathroom. This is super neato

Thanks everybody for your kind words about this picture. A little bit of trivia. The bathmat features the actual crest of my family (originally from France). The towelbars were made using a metaball modeler. The towels were run through a cloth simulation so they would properly hang on the bars. I also modeled the bathscales in MAX.

Unless I am just being nitpicky, I do see two shower heads at either sides of the shower. However this is just a minor infraction to a wonderful image. Great job!

Good eye for detail, Grifter, but no error here. The shower stall is separate from the tub (which you can't see from here). The walk-in shower has two shower heads so two can shower at the same time without having to take turns under the water. Originally, I also had dual shower heads at the base of the wall spraying upward, but thought that was a bit over the top .

This render is very nice too ! I am in admiration concerning how you take care about the details !! The feeling is very great in this place.
