The heatwave seems to have ended over Northern Europe. Unlike Mary, I am not complaining, especially on those days when I have to wear long trousers and tie. I wouldn't mind just a little bit more heat on the weekend though :-))

Ahh the good life and the best time of the (hot) day. Thanx ;-]

Still, it looks inviting!! Hard to percieve the heat from this shot, all I see is a glorius beach and surf!! Sigh wish we could go to the ocean!! Great image! Love the composition!!!

I miss the beach. My poor feet yearn for salt water. Love those lil huts, they look like hats. Hope you have a cool day; stay in with Arthur! lol!

I agree, Rozanne, how can they take it. I did not make the beach at all, on the beautiful Fuengirola areaa. I just kept on my Caterpillar boots for my bad ankle, wore light but covering clothing, perhaps not as fancy as the Spaniards aaround me, perhaps, and kept in the shade wherevever possible. I also drank beautiful water and fruit juices whenever I could. There were always two 500ml botttles in my back pack and any supermercado was raided for more liquid on the way. At least riding your bike you would experience a certain amount of airflow to alleviate the soaring temperatures. Regards, John.

Funny is though to see a picture like this, stripped from the scorching heat it just conveys a, superficially seen, pretty mood. Fortunately you add the text emphasizing the hard conditions here!
