Description
First I need to toss out a big Thank You to Sharyn for sharing Giaan with me. She's wonderful! Hope you like what I've done with her.
As soon as I saw the honeycomb texture I knew what I wanted to do, though I was originally thinking a full body shot. But I decided that wasn't going to work too well 'cause the bees would be too small to really see.
I couldn't decide if I wanted a BG for this or not and ultimately decided anything I did would probably draw attention away from her face, so I left it black. If I find something that goes with the idea better I might add it in later. Same for the hair. I've got an idea, but am not at all sure if that'd work out well or not. So in a way this is a partial work in progress, but I'm happy enough with the way it turned out that if I never get back to it I'll live. :)
I also wasn't at all sure what genre this sort of thing would fall into, but Surrealism seemed like the best fit to me. *shrug*

Looks BEEutiufl to me. :P Maybe a nice dark honeycomb background might work? Something to accentuate rather than draw from the face? Very cool.
