Description
G'day.
This is the last of the Mt Donna Buang rainforest shots.
Its a little plain/boring but i wanted to show y'all the wider landscape setting of the little creek i have been climbing around to take the other last 5 uploads.
Thanx for y'all comments and its great to see everyone work on this site as it gives me such inspiration to go out and do more.
What next??
Im trying to get a day off to head up to the local mountain snow fields but we have had such a dry winter and so little rain/snow locally.
We are in stage 2 water restrictions and heading for satge 3 and our dams are at around 50% capacity.
I have recently put in a big water tank on the side of my house (and would you believe it was actually illegal in metropolitan Melbourne (to have tanks) a few years a go) to save rain.
Our main rainy season is Septemeber/October so we are praying for good rain.
I have been watching the news and seeing you poor guys/gals in America suffering under the extreme heat.
It makes me worry about climate change!!
I am a town planner by trade and i try to get lots of tree planting/landscaping in all new land/building developments i deal with, so I hope that a reasonable contribution to the environment.
Hope all is wwell in your part of the world!!
Thanx and Enjoy
Louise

The heatwave is also happening all over Europe. People are fleeing from france into Sweden even. There are temperatures up to 55C in certain places, and here where i live....just south of the arctic circle its still 35C during the days. Thats hot for an eskimoe like me. #:o/ Beautiful shot once again Louise. You have sure mastered these silky water-shots to perfection. Have a wonderful weekend mate! #:O)
