Description

One from a swamping expedition about a week ago. We've been heading down to the pond fairly often recently and I now have a tremendous accumilation (probably not the right spelling but who the hell cares) of bad-ass bug and frog pictures to show you. Don't worry about the cat pictures, though; I'll be posting the rest of them soon, too. This shot was 90% luck, no question about it. The damselfly just happened to land on that blade of grass, its weight just happened to curve the blade perfectly, and I just happened to line up the shot juuuuuuust right to get that "arching into the distance" effect on the grass. Luck more than talent or skill, but I'm still really happy to have gotten it. Enjoy.
