I like the concept and the humour, but... Does every pirate have to have an eye-patch (and is a left-eye-patch compulsory and are matching earrings)? The pirate behind has the right sort of expression (I am guessing that they aren't there to collect for charity ;) ), but the figure in the foreground seems to have forgotten what she is there for. My main problem is with the background. Your lighting is utterly brilliant, but the background spoils the effect. That's a sunset and sunsets tend to be where the sun is, so, if these pirates have their backs to the sun, where is that sensational lighting of yours coming from? (There's also a bit of poke-through, a little bit south of the foreground girl's shoulder.) Please bear in mind that these comments are intended to be helpful criticism. Think of this way: I bet I have spent a lot more time looking at your picture than anyone else who has commented on it.
