Description
Today I met my brother for lunch in Missouri at LaClede's Landing down by the Arch. We were going to eat at "Jake's Steaks" and I sat outside at a sidewalk table waiting for him to finish playing a video game. Of course, I had my camera and took a few shots, but nothing really looked promising.
I was intrigued by the Greco-Roman style columns decorating the exterior of the building and the fact that Sparrows had managed to find yet another nook and/or cranny to build their nests and thereby flaunt their innate ability to adapt to the "modern world."
Part of this picture was just plain ugly, with an electrical box and wiring, etc. So I decided to do some postwork and edit out most of the right side of the photo. I used several techniques to create this final product... with many suggestions and much prodding from my friend RubyDancingmoon.
Hope ya like!

hee hee i didn't prod you THAT much! Glad you posted this one. It was an intruging shot and the i know the postwork took a while. One thing.. the bricks on the right hand side look a little askew compared to the brickwork on the left...here we go with those angles again! :o) Still a great shot though! And good for the birds!
