Photography has pretty much changed my life, in that, I look at every little thing differently now. I get so much pleasure being outdoors and finding new things to photograph. It gives me a tickle inside! I love the birds and flowers and all of nature so much. Sharing these treasures with all of you is very much a pleasure too. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them! This has been one of the most fun things I ever done... joining this community, it's given me more courage and confidence to explore what I really love to do... A BIG HUGE THANKS to all my friends here!!!!!!

"Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished  there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again."
Sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways it can change someone else's life forever...

This is a completly natural find on the beach, as much as some might think, Mother Nature does it best!!!! It's a dried seaweed sticking out of the sand, it reminded me of the movie dune, with the spice... anyone remember that movie???
jocko500

I was sure you've arranged those stones until I read more about it... Takes a good artist's eye to find such designs. This one looks like some sand-diving creature, trying to get fresh air through that "pipe"... Excellent picture!

I agree with Marlene's words about "zen eyes" Japanese immediately came to my mind. Great composition of mother nature, and a wonderful composed shot!

Way to go Gommie! Your eye for finding art is further proof that you art indeed deserving of that honor. Great sandy expressionism -- hrmmm, that gives me an idea...
