This is certainly more painting than photo at this point, and admittedly not too successful as either. I never know whether to post this sort of thing as 2D or multimedia, because it really doesn't fit so well with either. This is certainly not there yet, but I'm trying to get my photo post work technique to the point where you don't recognize this as a rather bland landscape photograph at all. I did manage to inject some color. I think that bits of it work pretty well as sort of an impressionist style painting, but other bits look rather awful, which the zoom reveals. Perhaps I should abandon this approach and just use actual paint. I think I'll just try it again with the same image in a few weeks.
