this is me.
I'm an amateur.. I have no idea what I'm doing.. but hope that one day I might but I don't think I will since there is always more to learn.
I have a small Kodak EasyShare CX7530... Nothing like many people have... Right now it's really frustrating me that I don't have something better because I expect more from myself and the camera.
I hope you enjoy checking out my photos!
I live in the British Columbia, Canada.

I think it looks beautiful Nicole! The only suggestion i have when photographing the moon, especially if youre using tele, you should have quite a fast shutterspeed since the moon does move alot faster than you might think. Have a great day. #:O)

I echo Andreas' opinion, the moon moves faster that one can imagine and may be blurry from movement, BUT also from its relative high luminosity "burning" the edges. I would recommend you look at filters, but have not tried any yet. Great mood and reflection! I opt for the easier way and correcting it during post work.

Movement, halos from oversharpening in camera, etc...all can make a fuzzy looking moon. Does a blowup show fuzzies or a halo? I can't tell for sure but looks like movement since the outline is not a uniform area. Until you mentioned it, I thought it was just misty around the moon, perfectly natural event. Very lovely, btw.

nice picture - does it matter if the moon moves a bit?

Lovely shot Nicole, I look the way the moon is reflecting on the lake. :))

Not at all bad for a shot at that hour; I find it amazing that you caught those moonsbeams on the water at all. Way to go!
