Description

This damselfly is widespread in the Netherlands. Nevertheless I don't see him very often and I don't know why that is. Anyhow.. hope you like the pic. This week I will be away for a short vacation in our own country, so I think I will see you next week again at this place.

Amazing stuff -- it'd be nice if the head was more in focus but the lovely colors come through clear as a bell. I'm glad you have damselflies where you live; they hang out in a swamp near my house in New Hampshire in the US, too. Like little pixies, aren't they? Anyway great photo.
