Description

This ain't a great shot, but it is a clear shot. This was a very tame, very huge frog that prompted loud singing from the other frogs after hopping into the pond. I did get what I thought was a better shot, a "frog's eye view" from across the water, but alas, the camera focused on their legs instead of their face so the photo was a dud. Wish it had come out better, but I'll probably get another chance; the pond has no shortage of very tame amphibians, although getting another one this big requires some luck, I'll tell ya. Just so you know, some postwork was done: I blurred some of the background a little more than it already was to make it look more 3-D. Also played with the contrast and saturation levels but I always do that. Hope you enjoy. EDIT: Removed a word I'm not using anymore because it's insulting to people with disabilities. Sorry I didn't think of that before. EDIT 2: not assuming gender in frogs anymore (because if you think about it, that just makes no fucking sense -- plus it's cissexist and binarist). sorry about that. EDIT 3 -- heh forgot to change the name.
