"Though I might travel afar, I will meet only what I carry with me, for every man is a mirror. We see only ourselves reflected in those around us. Their attitudes and actions are only a reflection of our own. The whole world and its condition has its counter parts within us all. Turn the gaze inward. Correct yourself and your world will change."

It cool OK. My Mums like that, even in her seventies she's like a blurr in the kitchen! Cracking effect you've acheived here, the kitchen is a place of movement like this and your shot conveys this well. I've got mixed feelings about the frame, I don't "not" like it, but would be curious to see it with perhaps a plain black frame. Then again the colours are good, like a stained glass window to your kitchen.

Lashia, that is so cool! Faster than a speeding bullet! Nice light and shadow. I have some old American Civil War photos in my database -- no, I didn't take them -- that show similar effects. The subjects had to remain perfectly still while the photographer took their picture on a glass plate, but every so often one of them moved. The military parades show a lot of that blurred movement. No 1/2000 shutter speeds back then.

hahaha.....that's pretty cool, like something out of smallville!!

Very appropriately titled and the blurry image very suggestive of the title.

Lovely image and one that, for me, reflects a universal truth... our mothers work hard throughout their lives for us, so this is a picture of that (forgive the pun) as they seldom have a moment to rest and just to be still. Thank gOd for our mothers!

Slow shutter has worked to your advantage - an excellent capture !

Haha, now this one is a very interesting shot. Great motions and I like how the coloured frame adds a very subtle contrast to this great b/w-image. Looking forward meeting your mum soon ^^ Love you
