Life never seems to leave us without a challenge does it? Between my every-changing health and medications and my families as well. This past June my 14 yr old had 3 heart surgeries, one was open heart, for a racing heart in which the doctors froze malfunctioning nerves in her heart to control its rhythm. The Did the open heart surgery to close a nearly 1¼" whole between the upper chambers of her heart. Thankfully everything went marvelously and she is recovery at an awesome rate.
Unfortunately as you can tell by my record number of posts...not!...my recovery is dragging far behind hers. I do not know when I expect to post, but wilol continue to do my best to check in and comment when I am able for my friends, as you all mean very much to me. I remain thankful for the health I have and the ability to enjoy my family and that my wife and girls loves to take pictures, my memory is really bad from the pain pills. Always believing for healing for myself and praying for leadership throughout the world to make smarter decisions.Â
May we all strive to leave this world a little better place than we found it. If we are fortunate we will have made a positive impact on others, especially those of the next generation. For we will entrust them to carry on the torch with integrity and courage when we are too weary.Â
Cheers and God Bless,
Brian

How wonderfully lucky that you have them in your life. How lucky they are to have you in theirs. A beautiful capture. Is this post work or do you develop your own film? I love the contrast!

I like the way you used selective color to highlight their importance. Very creative! Boy, isn't it amazing how fast they grow? Soon you'll be attending a high school graduation and thinking, "Wow, it was me up there just a few years ago! Can this be possible?"

This shot is not great photography...you know that. A good shot but a family shot. This shot is more than "great photography": This is life and soul and love and what is truly important. Thanks so very much for this shot and your words telling what it is. This is the way I think, too. This simple family image touches my heart. What more can you ask? Yes, they are lovely ladies. Could have been much less ..could have been a bunch of wild teenage boys!
